On May 07, the Supreme Court delivered a final verdict on UG-CLAT 2025 results. This judgement, unlikely to be reversed now, requires the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) to revise the CLAT 2025 merit list by deleting two questions and changing answers to three others. The revised CLAT 2025 results, expected very soon, also clear the way for Delhi University’s 5-year LLB admission process. The university is not part of the CLAT Consortium, however, it will offer BA LLB and BBA LLB courses through CLAT 2025 scores.
The Consortium of NLUs has not officially announced the CLAT PG 2026 result date. Based on last year's trends, the CLAT PG result is likely to be declared today or tomorrow.
The admission notification for DU BA LLB and DU BBA LLB will be released shortly. The DU UG admissions are currently ongoing, of which the 5-year LLB courses are part. However, the DU 5-year LLB admissions associated with CLAT 2025 results meant the admission process would not start until the disputes in the Supreme Court were resolved.
Now that the verdict is out, both the CLAT Consortium and Delhi University are expected to initiate the admission process as soon as possible. Any further delay in the admission process will postpone the commencement of the academic session.
Last year, Delhi University started the 5-year LLB application process in the second week of April. The counselling process was conducted online at the DU CSAS portal for undergraduate students.

Hello
With 83 marks in CLAT 2026 under the MBC category, getting NLU Jodhpur is possible but not guaranteed.
Based on previous years’ trends, the cutoff usually falls around 82–85 marks.
If your rank lies within the cutoff range, your chances improve.
Admission often becomes more likely in the later counselling rounds.
Your category reservation and preference order will play an important role.
Hope it will help you!!!
Hello aspirant,
Your anticipated cutoff range for top and mid-tier NLUs would typically be 60–70+ marks with 58 marks in CLAT (EWS category). Chances in Tier-1 and Tier-2 NLUs are minimal at 58. Depending on the year, rank inflation, and EWS seat availability, you might have a slim chance in lower Tier-3 NLUs or through open seats/spot rounds.
Thank you
Hope it helps you
Hello,
With a score of 82 in CLAT 2026 under the EWS category, you do have a chance at getting into decent NLUs, but it may depend on the specific NLU and the cut-offs for this year.
Generally:
Top NLUs (like NLSIU, NALSAR, NUJS, WBNUJS) usually have higher cut-offs, so 82 might be below their usual EWS opening rank.
Mid-tier NLUs (like HNLU, GNLU, RMLNLU, NLUJ) could be within reach.
Lower-ranked NLUs and state NLUs are more likely to accept your score.
Your best step is to check the previous years’ EWS cut-offs for each NLU to see where your rank might fit.
Hope it helps !
Hello aspirant,
Yes, you have a strong chance of getting into respectable NLUs with an EWS score of 82 on the CLAT 2026. You have a very good probability of getting into Tier-3 NLUs and a great possibility of getting into mid-tier (Tier-2) NLUs, but you are unlikely to get into top Tier-1 NLUs. Overall, this is a competitive and reasonable score, while your final result will rely on your rank, seat matrix, and counseling rounds.
Thank you
Hello,
NUJS is among the top tier law colleges in the country. A high score in CLAT is required to get into NUJS. For you, getting into NUJS is possible but challenging. The cut off for general category often is very high (+90), but you WB domicile improves your chances for admission. Keep an eye on the final rank list and cut off.
Thank you.
