    The Consortium of NLUs will commence the CLAT 2027 registration process on August 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Candidates can submit their applications until October 31, 2026. The Consortium of NLUs announced the CLAT 2027 exam date schedule through an official press release on July 22, 2026. The Common Law Admission Test 2027 will be conducted on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The Consortium has also confirmed that there will be no changes to the CLAT 2027 syllabus and exam pattern. The detailed CLAT 2027 notification, including eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern, participating NLUs and counselling schedule, will be released separately.

    CLAT 2027 Application Process

    The CLAT 2027 application window will open from August 3 to October 31, 2026, in online mode. Candidates can apply through the official website of the Consortium of NLUs, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The application process includes registration, filling the online CLAT application form 2027, uploading the required documents and paying the application fee. The CLAT 2027 application fee is ₹4,000 for General category candidates and ₹3,500 for SC/ST candidates.

    The Consortium has confirmed that the CLAT 2027 exam pattern will remain unchanged. The examination will continue to have 120 multiple-choice questions across five sections. Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.

    CLAT 2027 Admit Card Date

    The Consortium of NLUs will issue the CLAT 2027 admit card around two weeks before the exam date, tentatively in the fourth week of November 2026. Candidates can download their hall tickets for CLAT 2027 from the official website using the registered mobile number and password. The last date to download the CLAT 2027 admit card is at least 1 hour before the exam begins. It is mandatory to carry a physical copy of the admit card to the CLAT exam centre along with a government ID.

    CLAT 2027 Exam Date

    The CLAT 2027 exam date will be December 6, 2026. It will be an offline exam where candidates will be provided with question booklets and OMR sheets. Candiadates must reach their respective centres at least one hour before on the CLAT 2027 exam date. The CLAT syllabus has five sections — English language, general knowledge and current affairs, maths, legal aptitude, and logical reasoning.

    CLAT 2027 Answer Key Date

    The provisional CLAT 2027 answer key will be released tentatively on December 9, 2026. The CLAT answer key will be hosted on its official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Since the initial answer key will be provisional, candidates will have the opportunity to raise their objections against it till a specified date. The CLAT final answer key 2027 will be released after taking into consideration the validity of objections around 6-7 days after the provisional answer key date.

    CLAT 2027 Result Date

    The Consortium of NLUs will declare the CLAT 2027 results one week after the exam date. The results for CLAT 2027 will be based on the final answer key. Candidates will be able to download their CLAT 2027 scorecards online from the login portal on the official website. The result of CLAT mentions roll number, marks obtained by the candidate, all-India rank and category rank.
