The Calcutta University BA LLB admit card 2026 has been issued from August 12, 2026 onwards. Candidates can now download the CULET 2026 admit card through their login. Calcutta University BA LLB 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Given below are the requirements mentioned under the CULET 2026 eligibility criteria. The requirements pertain to the minimum educational qualification, minimum passing marks and age limit, if any.

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent from a board recognised by the University of Calcutta

• General category candidates must obtain a minimum of 45% marks in the best four subjects. (excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE).

• OBC and EWS category candidates must obtain at least 42% marks in the best four subjects (excluding compulsory Environmental Studies/Environmental Science). 

• SC/ST category candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in the best four subjects. (excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE).

• Candidates from boards other than WBCHSE, ISC, CBSE, Rabindra Mukto Vidyalaya and NIOS must obtain “Equivalence Certificate” from the office of the Registrar (Equivalence Section) University of Calcutta, 87/1, College Street, Kolkata-700073 by a written application in plain paper with a relevant photocopy of a 10+2 Mark Sheet. Certificate will be required at the time of admission.

• No age limit is prescribed.

The Calcutta University BA LLB 2026 application form window has reopened on August 8, 2026. Eligible candidates could fill out the CULET 2026 application form online through the official website, caluniv.ac.in, until August 9, 2026. The Calcutta University BA LLB application fee for General, OBC and EWS categories is Rs. 1,000, while SC/ST/PwD candidates are required to pay Rs. 500. • Log on to caluniv.ac.in and click on the "BA LLB Admission Notice 2026-27" link.
• Click on the "Click here to apply" button and next click on the "new applicant" link.
• Candidates will be directed to the registration form, where they must fill in all required details like name, password, mobile number, etc.
• Next, candidates must log in to the candidate portal using their mobile number and password.
• Fill in the detailed application form with the required personal, academic, and communication information.
• Candidates will also be required to pay the registration fee in their preferred mode of online payment.
• Click on "final submission" and take a copy of the application confirmation page for future reference.

CUELT 2026 Application Fee

Calcutta University prescribes the CULET 2026 syllabus and exam pattern through its official admission notification. Calcutta University declared the CULET 2026 result on September 4, 2026. The CULET result 2026 comprises the merit ranks of candidates, marks secured by them in the entrance exam, and other important details. Students will be called for further counselling process based on their CULET results. The CULET 2026 results is made available at caluniv.ac.in.

Calcutta University has notified the CULET 2026 counselling schedule on its official website. The Calcutta University BA LLB 2026 provisional merit list was released on September 10, 2026. The CULET 2026 provisional 1st selection list was released on September 15, 2026, and candidates can upload documents and pay the seat booking fee from September 15 to 17, 2026. Candidates shortlisted in the selection list have to report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities to secure admission. The residual admission fee has to be paid to the respective institute/college by September 18, 2026.
