The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has released the MH CET Law seat allotment 2026 for all participating universities on its official website for both 5 and 3-year LLB. DY Patil Law College is one of the top 10 law colleges in Maharashtra offering 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB admissions through the MH CET Law 2026 exam. It offers a total of 120 seats for each course. The DY Patil MH CET Law 2026 cut-off for the 5-year LLB has remained around 89 to 90 percentile for Maharashtra State (MS) open category candidates. The Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) cut-off has been around 97 to 98 percentile. For the 3-year LLB, the MS Open cut-off has remained around 94 percentile, while the OMS cut-off has ranged from 82 to 91 percentile.

Shortlisted candidates can either freeze their allotted seat or opt for betterment once the DY Patil MH CET Law seat allotment list 2026 is released. Candidates who wish to accept the allotted seat must pay Rs 1,000 as an acceptance fee. They must also complete the admission formalities.
Those who wish to wait for a better law college can exercise the opt for betterment option. Note that this option must be carefully used to not miss a chance at securing a seat. After the MH CET Law 2026 CAP is concluded, the participating law colleges release the number of vacant seats, if any. Institute-level counselling is conducted individually for law colleges that announce the MH CET Law 2026 vacant seats.
