The CLAT 2027 Quantitative Techniques questions assess candidates' ability to interpret numerical data, understand tables and charts, and apply mathematical concepts to solve problems. The following practice questions are based on a passage and will help candidates improve their calculation skills, data interpretation, and problem-solving accuracy.
At the end of 2024, the city transport corporation ran a fleet of 600 buses, of which 40% were electric, and the rest were diesel. During 2025, the corporation added 60 new electric buses and retired 60 old diesel buses, leaving the total fleet size unchanged.
An electric bus covers 200 km a day at an operating cost of ₹6 per km, while a diesel bus covers 150 km a day at an operating cost of ₹14 per km. In 2024, the corporation carried 3,60,000 passengers a day. Daily ridership rose by 15% in 2025, and the average fare paid per passenger remained ₹20.
