The CLAT 2027 application forms have been released on August 3, 2026. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements can complete the CLAT 2027 registration process before October 31, 2026. The CLAT 2027 application process will include basic steps like registration, filling in a detailed application forms, uploading of documents, payment of the application fee and more. Candidates who have just passed their Class 12 might need some clarity while filling the application form. In this article, we will discuss the CLAT 2027 application process in detail.
There are four simple steps in the CLAT 2027 application process:
Registration and OTP verification
Uploading of documents
Filling in the detailed application process
Payment of application fee
The CLAT 2027 registration is the first step of the application process. Candidates must complete registration by entering basic details like name, mobile number, email address, etc. The CLAT 2027 basic registration can be completed by following the steps given below:
Log on to the official website of CLAT - consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
On the CLAT 2027 page, click on “Don't have an account? Register”
Next, enter your name, mobile number, email ID, password (2 times) and click on the “Register” button.
On the next screen, enter the OTP sent to your registered email address and validate your details.
Upon completing the above-given steps, the registration will be complete and candidates will be redirected to the login page.
Once the registration process is complete, candidates must move on to uploading the documents. The CLAT 2027 application process requires scanned copies of a photograph and signature. Candidates can log in to their candidate account and upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The specifications of the CLAT 2027 documents to be uploaded have been given below:

Once candidates are done with uploading their documents, they can start with filling in the detailed CLAT 2027 application form. The detailed application form of CLAT 2027 will require candidates to enter their personal, academic and communication details. Furthermore, candidates will also be required to select three exam centre preferences. Candidates must login to their account and enter the following details:

All India Category (General, SC, ST, OBC or PwD)

PwD status and certificate

The last step in the CLAT 2027 application process is payment of the application fee. Candidates must pay the CLAT registration fee 2027 in online mode of payment. Once the payment is completed, candidates will get a payment confirmation receipt, and the application process will be complete. The CLAT 2027 registration fee has been given in the table below:

Once the CLAT 2027 application window is closed, the consortium will open an online facility to correct details. Candidates can use the CLAT 2027 application correction window to rectify any errors they made during the form filling process. The CLAT 2027 application correction schedule will be notified on the official website in due course.
