The official AIBE XXI (21) syllabus has been released by the Bar Council of India (BCI) on March 2, 2026. The syllabus comprises 19 law subjects totalling 100 questions. A major highlight is the inclusion of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA). The AIBE 21 syllabus remains unchanged from the previous AIBE XX syllabus. Successful candidates who clear this national-level entrance will receive a Certificate of Practice (COP). It serves as the mandatory license that enables candidates to legally practice as advocates in courts and tribunals across the country.
