The State CET Cell, Maharashtra conducts the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Law exam for admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses of participating colleges in Maharashtra.

If two or more students score the same number of marks, the CET Cell adopts a tie-breaking methodology to give ranks to students. The MH CET 5-year LLB tie-breaking methodology has been given below:
Candidates with higher marks in their class 12 will be given preference.
Candidates’ marks in the First Language Examination (Marathi Board) will be given preference over other board students.
Marks of the best five subjects will be considered for students who have completed their class 12 from the CBSE/ ICSE board.

Mumbai University has opened its application forms, under the Department of Law, for the two-year LLM program. The portable was made accessible for the applicants from the 3rd of August, 2024, and will be open till the 12th of August, 11:55 pm.
The applicants can fill out the form via their online portable, which is linked below for your convenience. The exam conducted by the Mumbai University for their LLM program is called the LLM CET exam, which will most probably be conducted by the end week of August 2024.
