The State CET Cell Maharashtra has published the detailed MH CET LLB CAP schedule 2026. Amid much delay, the CET Cell has finally published the MH CET Law CAP schedule 2026 for both 3 and 5-year LLB for all CAP rounds - 1, 2 and 3. The MH CET Law 2026 CAP allotment for round 1 which was scheduled to be published on August 12 for 3 year LLB and August 13 for 5-year LLB will now be published on August 14 and 17, 2026 respectively. The MH CET LLB first CAP allotment 2026 time is 5 pm for both 5 and 3-year LLB. This year, there have been several delays in the MH CET LLB counselling process 2026, due to non-approval of many colleges by the BCI. The CET Cell has finally published the detailed schedule for both 5 and 3-year LLB.

The State CET Cell will publish the MH CET 3-year LLB 2026 seat allotment results on August 14, 2026. The 3-year LLB CAP first allotment 2026 was initially planned for August 12, 2026. Talking about the MH CET 5-year LLB seat allotment 2026 for Round 1, the results will be published on August 17, 2026, instead of August 13, 2026. Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment results through the candidate login portal of the respective CAP websites.
This year, the CET Cell has made many changes in the MH CET LLB CAP counselling rules due to the delay in approval of colleges. Here is what is new in the MH CET LLB CAP process this year:
Web Options Editable: Candidates are now allowed to edit and change their order of preference during the web options process for eac of the rounds separately.
Auto Freeze Discontinued: Candidates allotted their first-preference college will no longer be automatically frozen. They will still be able to choose either the Freeze or Betterment option.
Freeze Option: Those who chose the Freeze option are required to pay Rs 1,000 and report to the allotted college.
Betterment option can be exercised two times: Those who choose the Betterment option are required to pay Rs 1,000. This year, candidates are allowed to exercise the betterment option twice.
Note: The MH CET Law 2026 round 3 will be the final round without any betterment option.
