• College Option Form Filling: Eligible candidates must fill and lock their preferred law colleges in order of priority. A carefully prepared preference list plays a crucial role in the allotment process.

• CAP Seat Allotment: The CET Cell allots seats based on the candidate's merit rank, reservation category, college preferences and seat availability. Seat allotment results are released separately for each CAP round.

• Reporting to Allotted College: Candidates who receive a seat allotment must report to the allotted college within the specified deadline, complete admission formalities, and pay the required fees to confirm their admission.

• Subsequent CAP Rounds and Institute-Level Admissions: Candidates seeking better allotments can participate in subsequent CAP rounds as per the counselling rules. After completion of the three CAP rounds, vacant seats, if any, are filled through institute-level admissions (ACAP) conducted by participating colleges.
