Read the following points carefully to know the details regarding the admission process after the CLAT merit list 2026 announcement:
Candidates who registered for counselling within the prescribed period will have three options as mentioned below:
The ‘Freeze’ option can be selected when the candidate is satisfied with accepting the allotted seat and does not want to participate in further counselling rounds.
Candidates unsatisfied with the current allotment can select the ‘Float’ option. Doing this will get the candidates considered for better options in the upcoming rounds and help them apply for higher preference NLU.
Those candidates who plan to withdraw from the counselling process and do not want admission into NLUT Agartala or any other CLAT participating colleges can select the ‘Exit’ option.
To select the Freeze or Float option, candidates must pay the confirmation fee of Rs. 20,000 to confirm their seats.
Candidates must visit the website of NLUT Agartala or any other NLU they have been allotted a seat in to know the fee details.
At the end, candidates must pay the remaining university fee, which is adjusted against the counselling fee and confirmation fee.
