Candidates who filled their college preferences can check the allotment through the CAP portal, llb5cap26.mahacet.org. SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law offers a 5-year BA LLB programme with an intake of 120 seats. The college is an unaided minority institution affiliated with the University of Mumbai. In round 1, the MS Open category closed at 98.542 percentile. The OMS and minority categories closed at 99.394 and 92.957 percentile, respectively, in round 1. Candidates allotted a seat at SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law can choose either Freeze or Betterment. Candidates choosing Freeze must pay the Rs 1,000 seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted college between August 19 and August 21, 2026. Candidates opting for Betterment can participate in the subsequent CAP round after completing the required seat acceptance process.
The allotment depends on the candidate’s MH CET 5-year LLB percentile, category, merit position, seat availability and preferences entered during choice filling. The MS, OMS and minority quotas have different levels of competition, resulting in different cut-offs. Vacant seats, candidates opting for freeze or betterment and seat conversions can also affect allotments in subsequent MH CET Law CAP rounds.
