Candidates who registered for the counselling process within the given time frame will have the following three options to choose from:
Freeze Option: Candidates satisfied with the seat allotted to them can choose the Freeze option. By doing so, they will be accepting the allotted seat and will not participate in any further rounds of counselling.
Float Option: If candidates are not satisfied with their current seat allotment, they can select the Float option. This allows them to be considered for better options in the following rounds of counselling, including a possible admission to a higher-preference NLU.
Exit Option: Candidates who wish to withdraw from the counselling process and do not want admission at TNNLU Tiruchirappalli can select the Exit option.
To choose either the Freeze or Float option, candidates must pay a confirmation fee of ₹20,000 to secure their seats.
However, candidates not interested in admission can select the ‘Exit’ option.
The university fee is adjusted to the confirmation and counselling fee and should be paid to confirm their admission at the allotted NLU.
