    The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will release the TNNLU Tiruchirappalli merit list 2026 and other CLAT participating institutes on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium of NLUs will start the CLAT 2026 counselling process a few days after the CLAT results 2026 and release the TNNLU Tiruchirappalli 2026 merit list for each counselling round. The merit list of TNNLU Tiruchirappalli will be prepared based on the score obtained by the candidates in the Common Law Admission Test to be conducted on December 7, 2025.

    TNNLU Tiruchirappalli offers admission to BA LLB, B.Com LLB and LLM programmes with three different specialisations through CLAT 2026. The Tamil Nadu Law University (TNNLU) Tiruchirappalli will tentatively conduct institute-level counselling and release the merit list of TNNLU Tiruchirappalli, at the university level to fill in the remaining seats after the completion of centralised counselling.     What After the Publication of TNNLU Tiruchirappalli CLAT Merit List?

    Candidates who registered for the counselling process within the given time frame will have the following three options to choose from:

    • Freeze Option:
Candidates satisfied with the seat allotted to them can choose the Freeze option. By doing so, they will be accepting the allotted seat and will not participate in any further rounds of counselling.

    • Float Option:
If candidates are not satisfied with their current seat allotment, they can select the Float option. This allows them to be considered for better options in the following rounds of counselling, including a possible admission to a higher-preference NLU.

    • Exit Option:
Candidates who wish to withdraw from the counselling process and do not want admission at TNNLU Tiruchirappalli can select the Exit option.

    • To choose either the Freeze or Float option, candidates must pay a confirmation fee of ₹20,000 to secure their seats.

    • However, candidates not interested in admission can select the ‘Exit’ option.

    • The university fee is adjusted to the confirmation and counselling fee and should be paid to confirm their admission at the allotted NLU.

    Domicile cut-offs are unpredictable. You can apply and get a seat only if the domicile category is selected. You can apply, but the chances of getting either of them are rare.
