The Consortium of NLUs conducted the CLAT 2026 exam on December 7, 2025. As soon as the exam was concluded, social media was abuzz with claims that the CLAT 2026 question paper was leaked. It all started with a Telegram channel claiming that the CLAT 2026 question paper booklet was leaked on December 6, 2025. The viral screenshot showed a question booklet with wrong answers marked. Later, many other social media channels on Telegram and Instagram started taking up the issue, causing a state of frenzy and confusion among students. However, it is too early to verify the authenticity of the paper leak claims. Careers360 has reached out to the NLU Consortium for an official clarification; a statement is awaited.
As soon as the exam concluded, several claims on social media regarding a possible CLAT 2026 question paper leak and incidents of cheating started circulating. Some Telegram groups started sharing videos alleging that the question paper was leaked. Several Reddit users also shared these videos in different groups. The claims that the CLAT 2026 question paper might have actually been leaked actually start from a Telegram channel named “SSC CPO exam paper 2026”.
The alleged video showed a CLAT 2026 question booklet with wrong answers marked. The claim was that the question booklet had wrong answers marked to not raise any suspicion.
Additionally, one student claimed he was allowed to carry his mobile phone inside the exam centre. The images shared by the candidate were sent at 2:29 pm, and the reply came at 3:24 pm, which might look like a reasonable time to get all the answers. The images clicked by the person giving this evidence had 30+ pictures attached, which was almost the number of pages in the CLAT UG QB 2026.

Apart from this case alone, many other students have claimed that phone usage was allowed inside the exam hall. While it cannot be said that this is true or false in its entirety, the onus is on the Consortium of NLUs to issue a clarification that would give candidates a sense of transparency.

Amid all the frenzy and paper leak claims, the Consortium of NLUs is yet to share a response. Careers360 has sent an email to the Consortium of NLUs for clarification regarding all the claims of paper leak doing the rounds on social media. A reply from the CNLU is awaited.
Careers360 has also urged the Consortium of NLUs to issue a clarification on its official website to lay the issue to rest.

Hello Santosh,
Domicile cut-offs are unpredictable. You can apply and get a seat only if the domicile category is selected. You can apply, but the chances of getting either of them are rare.
Most law colleges require entrance exams like CLAT or state-level law entrance tests. Some private universities may offer direct admission. Visit the official website of the college, fill out the application form, upload required documents, pay the fee, and complete counselling if required.
With a CLAT score of 71.35, you can apply for admission to NLU for mid-to-lower-tier NLU courses, with a state rank of 69.
With a CLAT 2026 rank of 33,825, it's difficult to get a seat at GNLU Silvassa in the initial stages.
You should focus on private institutions, where a CLAT 2026 rank of 33,825 has a higher chance of admission.
For information on domicile quota seats, see this - CLAT Domicile
