Some important pointers for the CLAT 2026 exam by Consortium:

  • Always log in only from the official CLAT portal—do not rely on unofficial list screenshots or forwarded PDFs.
  • Documents are to be uploaded in the specified format and size without deviation; scans that lack clarity may result in rejection.
  • When preferences are locked in, they cannot be altered at any point.
  • The options Freeze, Float, and Exit have to be chosen during the designated time span; if this is not done, removal is automatic.
  • It is essential to adhere to the deadlines for confirmation fees and university fees.
  • It is essential for candidates to verify the validity and current status of their category, domicile, and reservation certificates.
  • After every allotment round, review the NLU-specific instructions to ensure you don’t miss campus deadlines.
