The Consortium of National Law Universities has published the second CLAT 2025 merit list on June 4, 2025. Candidates can download the merit list from the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The second CLAT 2025 allotment list is provisional. Candidates are required to pay the confirmation fee and the university fees to secure admission. The CLAT 2025 merit list also provides the CLAT 2025 cut-off for the second round of counselling. In this article, get the steps to download the merit list and the important deadlines.
The CLAT 2025 merit list is published for each round of counselling. As per the revised schedule issued by the consortium, there are three rounds of CLAT 2025 counselling for admissions into 5-year LLB programmes of participating NLUs.

Visit the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in
In the notification section, click on the 2nd provisional allotment list
Click on the desired NLU for which the merit list is required
The second CLAT 2025 merit list PDF will be displayed on the screen
Download and save it for future reference

After the merit list is out, candidates have to choose one of the three options as explained below, within the prescribed deadline.
Freeze option: Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat and those who have been allotted their first preference NLU seat must choose the freeze option and pay the confirmation fee of Rs 20000.
Float option: Candidates who have not been allotted their first NLU preference and want to upgrade to another NLU which is higher in their preference list in the later rounds of counselling must choose the float option. Such candidates are required to pay the confirmation fee of Rs 20000.

TS LAWCET 2025: The TS LAWCET 2025 application form for admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLE courses will tentatively be released in March 2025, at lawcet-tische.ac.in. Once the application process is over, the admit card for the exam will tentatively made available in the fourth week of May 2025
