CLAT 2026 Counselling Closing Soon: Last Date, Time & Final Instructions
The Consortium of National Law Universities will soon close the CLAT counselling 2026 registration window. Candidates who have a valid score in CLAT 2026 can register for CLAT counselling through their login from the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. During the CLAT 2026 counselling registration, candidates need to fill in their personal and academic details, submit the prescribed documents and pay the counselling fee. Additionally, candidates have to provide their CLAT 2026 NLU preferences. A maximum of 15 NLUs can be selected to increase the chances of admission. The last date and time to complete the CLAT 2026 counselling registration is 10:00 PM on December 27, 2025.
Through the CLAT 2026 exam, candidates will be able to get admission into the 5-year LLB and LLM programs of CLAT 2026 participating colleges. It is important to make sure that you do not wait until the last minute to complete the CLAT counselling registration. The CLAT 2026 merit list for the first round will be released on January 7, 2026 ay 10:00 AM. The merit list will be based on the candidate’s CLAT score and the submitted preference during regiaration window.

Steps to Register for CLAT Counselling 2026
The consortium of NLUs will send an invitation to the registered email ID and mobile number of the shortlisted candidates to register for CLAT counselling. The following are the steps to register for CLAT counselling.
How to Register for CLAT 2026 Counselling?
Visit the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Log in to the CLAT 2026 account and validate the invitation for CLAT counselling 2026.
Click on the “Make Payment” option.
Candidates have to provide the bank account details into which, refunds, if any will be processed.
Complete payment of the CLAT 2026 counselling registration fee
Upon receipt of the successful payment message, the CLAT 2026 counselling registration will be completed.
