The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the CLAT 2026 provisional answer key today, on December 10, 2025. The provisional answer key of CLAT 2026 is an important document that helps candidates calculate their scores in advance before the results. Additionally, the authorities have also opened the CLAT 2026 provisional answer key objection window for UG and PG. Those who wish to submit their grievances against the answer key will need to open the candidate portal on the official website. Candidates need to pay Rs. 1000 for each objection. The direct link to raise objections against the CLAT 2026 answer key is also given below. The last date to raise concerns against the answer key is before 5 PM on December 12, 2025.

The CLAT 2026 final answer key will be tentatively released on December 13, 2025, after considering the valid objections. It must be noted that the Consortium of NLUs will publish the CLAT UG 2026 answer key and the CLAT PG 2026 answer key separately. The results for CLAT 2026 will be based on the final answer key.

Next, scroll down to the notification section
Click on CLAT 2026 answer key and master question paper
The CLAT provisional answer key 2026 along with the CLAT question paper, will be visible on the screen.
Download and save the answer key for future reference
Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to raise objections against the CLAT 2026 provisional answer key.

Log in to the CLAT account using the login credentials
Click on submit objections
Select the desired question booklet set and the type of objection
Enter the objection details and specify the question number
Click on submit
Click on ‘make payment’ option and pay the objection fee.

The CLAT 2026 final answer key will be released once the objection window is closed. Candidates must know that no objection will be considered against the final answer key. Therefore, any valid objection raised will be accepted by the consortium only till 5 PM on December 12, 2025.

With AIR 10542 and OBC rank 1843, getting top NLUs is unlikely. However, you still have chances in newer or lower ranked NLUs like NLU Assam, NUSRL Ranchi, MNLU Nagpur/Mumbai, especially in later or vacancy rounds. Also consider good private law colleges as backup options.
Since you scored 8000 AIR in CLAT, getting into top NLUs may not be possible, so it is a good idea to look for affordable and good law colleges.
