Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna has begun its vacant seats admission process for BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programmes in 2026-27. Candidates who appeared in CLAT 2026 and meet the rank criteria can apply online through Google Form before June 8, 2026. Admissions will be based on CLAT 2026 All India Rank. CNLU will release the merit list on June 11, 2026, and the admission process will commence from June 13, 2026, onwards. Candidates interested in both programmes (BA LLB and BBA LLB) need to submit separate applications and pay the application fee separately.

Candidates can apply for the CLAT 2026 vacant seats for CNLU Patna admissions by following these steps:
Click on the Google Form link provided above
Before filling the form, pay the non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000 through the ICICI Bank payment gateway.
Fill in the online application form (candidate’s name, email address, phone number, date of birth, etc.)
Enter CLAT 2026 All India Rank (AIR), category, programme: BA LLB (Hons.) or BBA LLB (Hons.), and personal details.
Attach scanned PDF copies of all required documents.
Submit the application form before the deadline.
Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
Important: Candidates seeking admission to both BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes must submit separate applications and pay the application fee separately for each programme.Candidates must upload these documents while submitting the CNLU vacant seats application form 2026:
CLAT 2026 admit card (signed by invigilator)
CLAT 2026 scorecard
Class 10 marks sheet or matriculation certificate
Class 12 marks sheet
Caste certificate (issued by a competent government authority) - if applicable
EWS certificate (for FY 2025-26) - if applicable
PwD certificate - if applicable
Bihar domicile certificate - if claiming domicile-specific seats

Candidates should carefully note the following instructions before submitting their application forms:
Admission is offered solely on the CLAT 2026 merit basis.
Candidates can claim a reservation only under the category they selected in their original CLAT 2026 application.
Separate applications are required for BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes if applying for both.
Incomplete applications without the required documents or a fee receipt will be rejected automatically.
Application fee of Rs. 1,000 per programme is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The application fee must be paid before filling out the Google Form.
All documents must be uploaded in PDF format only.
Candidates should regularly visit the CNLU website for admission updates and merit list announcements.
Once allotted a seat, candidates must complete document verification and fee payment within the prescribed deadline.
Failure to report for admission formalities within the stipulated time will result in seat cancellation.
Applications received after June 8, 2026, will not be accepted under any circumstances.

CNLU will publish the provisional merit list on June 11, 2026. The merit list is prepared based on CLAT 2026 All India Rank and applicable reservation rules for each category. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list must complete document verification and fee payment within the given deadline. The merit list will be available on the CNLU website: cnlu.ac.in, and candidates will also receive email notifications.
