Candidates who will be allotted seats to Dr Ambedkar College of Law in the MH CET LLB CAP rounds 2026 have two options - Freeze and Betterment. Here is what both these options mean:
Freeze: In case candidates are satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they can exercise the “Freeze” option. Once candidates exercise this option, they cannot participate in the future rounds of counselling. This option is best exercised when candidates get their first preference seat.
Betterment: Candidates who are satisfied with the seats allotted to them in the CAP rounds but still want to be considered for better seats in upcoming rounds can exercise this option. This is the best option to exercise in case candidates have not been allotted their first preference seat. This year, candidates can exercise the Betterment option two times.
