The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra has completed the first round of MH CET Law counselling 2025. The 5-year LLB vacant seat list after MH CET Round 1 allotment was released on August 11, 2025. The list of vacant seats for MH CET law colleges is available on the official admission portal. The second round of allotment will be announced to fill these seats. Both GLC Mumbai and ILS Pune are among the most preferred law colleges where admissions are very competitive. The Maharashtra State CET Cell will release the MH CET LLB CAP 2 seat allotment for 5-year LLB on August 13, 2025 after 5 pm. The MH CET 5-year LLB CAP 2 seat allotment link will be activated on the official website: llb5cap25.mahacet.org. To download the seat allotment for MH CET 5-year LLB, candidates need to enter their login credentials. Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 MH CET 5-year LLB allotment list are required to report to the allocated colleges for admission from August 14, 2025 to August 19, 2025.

Mumbai University has opened its application forms, under the Department of Law, for the two-year LLM program. The portable was made accessible for the applicants from the 3rd of August, 2024, and will be open till the 12th of August, 11:55 pm.
The applicants can fill out the form via their online portable, which is linked below for your convenience. The exam conducted by the Mumbai University for their LLM program is called the LLM CET exam, which will most probably be conducted by the end week of August 2024.
There will be around 50 multiple-choice questions from different areas of law such as constitutional law, family law, administrative law, human law, etc. The exact date of the exam will be conveyed to you either by email or via their website.
