IPU Law Counselling 2021 - GGSIPU will conduct the IPU law admission counselling soon after the CLAT result declaration. IPU will offer 5-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes based on the CLAT 2021 score. The counselling of IPU law admission 2021 will be conducted in online mode. Eligible candidates who want to participate in IPU law through CLAT 2021 will have to register and upload their CLAT marks and documents on the counselling portal as per the instructions. The IPU law counselling 2021 will be held in multiple rounds, depending on the number of seats left after each round of counselling. IPU Law Counselling Process 2021
The IPU law counselling is conducted in online mode. To avoid the last-minute rush, candidates should try to apply for counselling as early as possible. The details of the counselling process are given below.
Step 1 - Fee payment
Candidates will have to visit the official counselling portal of the IPU and submit Rs 1000 as a counselling fee. The IPU law counselling fees can be paid in both online and offline mode. One may use Challan mode or online banking options such as credit card/debit card/net banking facilities.
Step 2 - IPU law counselling registration
After the confirmation of counselling fees, the candidates will have to fill the non-CET application form on the admission website (ipuadmissions.nic.in). Candidates will have to enter their CLAT exam 2021 details including the score and their personal, academic and communication details such as an address, mobile no and email ID. In this process, candidates will also be required to upload the documents as per the instructions.
After the registration, candidates will be provided with a login ID and password.
Step 3 - Choice filling
The candidates will have to provide their college preferences for allotment. There are 12 law colleges under IPU, candidates can select them in the order of preference.
Step 4 - Allocation of seats
The seats will be allocated as per merit, preference and category and region. Candidates will be able to check their allotment result by logging into the IPU law counselling portal. After the seat allotment, a candidate will have to pay Rs 40,000 as academic fees failing which, the candidate will not be considered eligible for admission. The academic fees can be paid in both online and offline mode. After fees payment, candidates should print the academic fee payment receipt for future references.
The IPU law counselling will be held in multiple rounds (minimum three rounds). After each round, the seat allotment list will be released. Candidates who are allotted seats in a given round will have the following options -
Freezing of allotment seat after the allocation
A candidate can freeze his/her seat if he/she is satisfied with the allotment and does not want to participate in the next round of counselling.
Participate in next round of counselling
If the candidate does not exercise the freeze option in the first round, he/she will be allotted his/her second-best preference in the next round. However, the allotment will be subject to the availability of seats. Candidates’ claim in the first allotment will be forthwith withdrawn if not frozen in the first round.
Step 5 - Reporting of candidate to the allotted institute
After the seat allotment, candidates will have to join the respective college with the admission slip, academic fee receipt, provisional allotment letter and the necessary record for verification of documents.
Candidates will also be required to pay the balance amount of fees (if any) as per the instructions, failing which the admission will be cancelled.
IPU Law Counselling Spot Round
After the third/final round of counselling, the university and colleges may conduct the spot round of counselling to fill the vacant seats. The spot round of counselling will be conducted after the completion of the admission process
Candidates desirous of participating in the spot round will have to pay a counselling participation fee - Rs - 2000/- (non-refundable / transferable).
All “not-admitted” candidates will be eligible to participate in the spot Counselling.

what is the minimum rank will be required in CLAT 2020 to get admission in IPU University?
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will be taking admissions this year through CLAT. Untill last year, it used to fill its seats through IPU CET. But keeping in mind that was scrapped last year, this year the university will be taking admits through CLAT. Since there is no previous records for it, it is going to be slightly difficult to predict the cutoff. Still keep your hopes high!

In order to be eligible to take admission in Indraprastha University for LLB course, the candidate should have passed their 12th class under 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with atleast an aggregate of 50% marks.
And rest it depends upon your score in the entrance test conducted by the university.

The admissions to the university will be conducted through CLAT, application forms are available online. After submitting the form you will be issued the admit card soon after. If your name is in the merit list then you will be called for the councelling session.

CLAT would have been the best option for you for BA LLB but it seems you haven't applied for it. Therefore, you have to contend with low end universities for doing your law degree.
