KLEE 2014 Eligibility – Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala has invited Online Applications for KLEE 2014.Candidates interested in applying for undergraduate law courses in government and private law colleges of Kerala need to fill in KLEE 2014 Application Form. You are required to read the Eligibility Criteria for Kerala LLB Entrance given in this page before filling in KLEE 2014 Application Form.

Nativity – Candidate should be an Indian citizen. The candidates should produce any of the following documents along with the application, to prove Indian citizenship:

  • Original Certificate from a Village Officer or a competent authority to show that the candidate is a native of any State or Union Territory of India in the prescribed format.

  • True copy of the birth certificate of the candidate, issued by competent birth registering authority (panchayat/municipality/ corporation), showing place of birth in any State or Union territory of India.

  • True copy of the relevant page of Secondary School Leaving Certificate of the candidate, showing place of birth in any State or Union territory of India.

  • True copy of the relevant page of the passport of the candidate issued by Government of India.

Academic –

  • Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education recognized by Universities in Kerala and equivalent thereto.

  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from Central Board of Secondary Education or State Boards or equivalent recognized board of education.

  • Candidates who are appearing 10+2 or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply, subjected to minimum passing marks in the qualifying examination.

  • A candidate must have secured at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination in order to be eligible for admissions in the BA LLB programme.

Age: the eligible candidate should have attained 17 years of age as on December 31, 2014. However the upper limit of age should not exceed 20 years in case of General category and 22 years for SC/ST/SEBC as on April 30, 2014.

Hi Anjana,

KLEE is Kerala law entrance exam which is conducted in July for the entrance in the Government colleges and the private self finance colleges of Kerala state for law studies. Those who want 3 year or 5 year LLB program can give KLEE 2020. There are many colleges in Kerala which accepts KLEE results. They are as follows:-

1) Government Law College Kozhikode

2) Mar Gregorios college of Law, Nalanchira

3) Bharat Mata School of Legal studies                          Chunangamvely

4) Sree Narayana Guru College of Legal Studies,          Kollam

can we write klee exam without clat exam

Yes, we can appear in KLEE exam without appearing in CLAT exam. The eligibility criteria for KLEE for 5 year LLB course is that

  • A candidate must have passed 10+2 or it's equivalent qualification with  minimum of 45%(for candidates belonging to general category)  for SC/ST candidates 40% and for SEBC candidates 42% from an institution recognized by the bar council of India.
  • A Candidate who have passed the 10+2 exam form distance education or correspond method are also eligible.
  • Candidates appearing in the 10+2 board exam in 2020 are also eligible to appear in the entrance test of KLEE 2020.
  • The candidate should be minimum 17 years of age and there is no upper limit
The Eligibility criteria for 3 year LLB course is that

  • A Candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST and 42% for SEBC candidates) from a recognized university.
  • Candidates who are going to appear in the qualifying exam in the academic year 2019-20 are also eligible to appear in the KLEE 3-year LLB entrance test.
  • There is no age limit for this course

In order to apply for KLEE LLM Programme, The candidate must have passed LLB program scoring 50% aggregate marks from University of Kerala or any other recognized university .

As you are pursuing B.com (//B.com) programme then you can apply for KLEE LLB programme as per the eligibility, Final year candidate can apply for the programme. (//B.com)
