The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has declared the CLAT 2025 revised result on May 17 at around 3:15 pm. The revision of CLAT 2025 results has led to changes in candidates' scores, with some seeing an increase in their marks. The CLAT 2025 revised results, along with counselling dates, have been announced on its Consortium's website. Candidates can also download their CLAT 2025 revised scorecards by logging into their account on the CLAT 2025 portal through the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Regarding CLAT 2025 PG results, the Consortium has informed that the candidates will have to wait till the resolution of matters currently pending before the Delhi High Court.

Earlier, Careers360 got in touch with the CNLUs helpdesk, they confirmed that the CLAT revised result will be out by today afternoon, once the convener approves. The Supreme Court hearing for CLAT UG took place on May 7, with the copy of the Supreme Court judgement on CLAT 2025 released on May 16. The apex court has instructed the Consortium of NLUs to initiate the CLAT 2025 counselling process within two weeks from the CLAT judgement date. As per the CLAT 2025 result update, a candidate’s score is likely to increase by upto 3.25 marks and decrease by upto 4.25 marks in the CLAT 2025 revised result.

The Consortium of NLUs declared the CLAT 2025 revised result on May 17 at around 3:15 pm. Candidates who appeared for the exam can log in to the website using their application number and date of birth to access their updated CLAT 2025 results. The CLAT revised result 2025 date is May 17, 2025.

What is the Supreme Court Judgement on CLAT 2025?

On May 16, the top court dismissed a fresh Special Leave Petition filed by candidate Hardik Garg. Earlier, he had challenged three questions in the Delhi High Court. All three of his objections were rejected in the Supreme Court. Earlier, the Supreme Court had passed the CLAT 2025 judgement on May 7, and answers to 5 questions were changed in the CLAT 2025 final answer key.

In the case of M/S Halonex Limited, 59-A Noida vs State of U.P., it was held that “In reply to the aforesaid submission, learned counsel for opposite party no.2 submitted that the case of the applicants that no amount is due from their side to the complainant is a matter of defence which cannot be considered at this stage. It has been submitted that the term 'entrustment' as used in Section 405 IPC has been given a wider interpretation. It has been submitted that the goods returned by the complainant to the Company for replacement or for reimbursement would be deemed to have been entrusted to the Company and as the applicants 2 & 3 were handling its affair they become responsible. To buttress the said submission, the learned counsel for the complainant drew the attention of the Court to a decision of the Apex Court in the case of Ram Narayan Popli Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation: (2003) 3 SCC 641, wherein it was observed that: "the term "entrustment" is not necessarily a term of law. It may have different implications in different contexts. In its most general signification all it imports is the handing over possession for some purpose which may not imply the conferring of any proprietary right at all." Attention was also drawn to an observation made in the judgment of the aforesaid case, where it was observed that: "to establish the charge of criminal breach of trust, the prosecution is not obliged to prove the precise mode of conversion, misappropriation or misapplication by the accused of the property entrusted to him or over which he has dominion.
