The All India Bar Examination registrations have commenced on September 03, 2024. AIBE exam is a mandatory certificate-based exam for LLB graduates. Only those who clear AIBE within two years of completion of LLB are allowed to practice law in India. Candidates looking to appear for the exam will be required to pay the AIBE registration fee 2024 which varies depending on the candidate’s category. In addition to this, candidates are also required to register for state bar councils and pay bar registration fees.

What is AIBE 19 regisration last date?

As per the official notification, AIBE XIX (19) registration last date is October 25, 2024. No candidate will be allowed to register on the AIBE login portal after the deadline. However, the facility to edit the application form of AIBE XIX (19) 2024 will remain open till October 31, 2024.

AIBE registration fee submission deadline

While the AIBE registration window closes on October 25, the application fee submission window will remain open for three more days. The AIBE registration fee submission last date is October 28. The official website for AIBE registration 2024 is allindiabarexamination.com.

Bar Council Enrollment Fees

Candidates looking to appear for AIBE XIX (19) 2024 are required to register for the state bar council before filling out the application form. They can register with any of the state bar councils in India and obtain an enrollment number.

The bar enrollment number is required to complete the AIBE application form. Candidates must pay the enrollment fee, which varies from state to state, when registering with state bar councils.

For example, the Bihar Bar Council charges Rs. 35,000, whereas the Bar Councils of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra charge Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000, respectively. The Odisha Bar Council enrollment fee is Rs. 42,000. The average Bar enrollment fee ranges from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000.

Recently, the Supreme Court of India ruled that enrollment fee charged by the state bar council cannot exceed the limit prescribed by the Advocates Act. Following this, Delhi Bar Council and some other bar cuncils have lowered the bar enrollment fees.

The BPP is typically required for those who do not have a formal educational qualification equivalent to 10+2.it has nothing to do with aibe exam because it conducted to assess basic level knowledge of law degree student and lay down minimum benchmark for entering into practice of law in addition to assessing candidate's analytical skills.
