When it comes to what is a good score in CLAT 2025, candidates must understand that it varies for each category. For general category, a score between 60 to 65 marks cannot be termed as a good score. Candidates will hardly get admission in any NLU in general category at this score. Candidates belonging to the SC and ST category can get admission in some NLUs with a score of 60 to 65 marks. In this category, candidates can aim for tier 2 and tier 3 NLUs for admissions. There are some NLUs available for admissions to OBC category candidates too with a score between 60 to 65 marks.
The CLAT 2025 counselling start date has not yet been notified by the Consortium of NLUs. Earlier, the consortium of NLUs had announced the complete counselling schedule, however, a two-judge bench’s order postponed the complete schedule. It is expected that the CLAT 2025 counselling schedule will be announced anytime soon now.
