CLAT 2026 Low Scores: What 50 Marks and Below Really Mean for You?

CLAT 2026 Low Scores: What 50 Marks and Below Really Mean for You?

JasmineUpdated on 07 Dec 2025, 07:05 PM IST

CLAT score of 50 marks or below is considered a low score. The rank equivalent to a CLAT score of 45 to 50 is around 28000 to 32000. Candidates might face challenges in finding National Law Universities (NLUs) with this score. Based on the previous year’s CLAT cut off, there are no NLU available for General, OBC, ST and EWS categories. However, a few NLUs accept candidates with this score from the SC category. Candidates require a CLAT score of 90+ to get admission into top NLUs. Those who are unable to get into NLUs can look for private law colleges.
