Through the Common Law Admission Test, candidates can get admission into 5-year integrated LLB programmes, and postgraduate LLM programmes of participating NLUs and over 60+ affiliated colleges.
As per the CLAT marks vs rank analysis, a rank of 6000 to 7000 in CLAT converts to a score between 76 to 78 marks. The corresponding scores for various ranks between 6000 to 7000 are given in the table below.

As per the estimates about a good score in CLAT, a candidate from the general category needs around 100 marks for admission into top NLUs. The good score required for other categories for other candidates for admission into premier NLUs progressively decreases with SC/ST needing around 85-90 marks. These estimates show that 6000 to 7000 rank is a good rank for admission into tier 2 and 3 NLUs for SC. Candidates from the ST category can obtain admission into premier NLUs with 6000 to 7000 rank in CLAT. The CLAT cut-off for general and EWS is much higher.
