The CET Cell notified that several law colleges will be added in the subsequent MH CET Law 2026 CAP rounds once they are approved. Among the top law colleges in Maharashtra, GLC Mumbai, Dr Ambedkar College of Law, and Siddharth College of Law are expected to join the MH CET Law 2026 during the second round of counselling.

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has released a notification stating that the MH CET Law 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is being conducted with the current approved law colleges. The approved colleges for MH CET Law 2026 have been updated on the official website for both 3-year and 5-year LLB. Candidates can submit the MH CET Law 2026 web options on the CAP portal from August 5, 2026, to August 7, 2026.
Some of the top law colleges in Maharashtra that offer admissions based on the highest MH CET Law cut-off are missing from the approved list. Candidates can expect these colleges to join in the upcoming rounds only if the competent authorities approve.

The CET Cell allots the seats based on the candidates' percentile and the preference list submitted during the MH CET Law 2026 web options. The MH CET Law 2026 round 1 seat allotment will be released on August 11 and 12, 2026, for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB, respectively. Allotted candidates must accept their seat by paying the required tuition fee and reporting to their respective colleges before the deadline. Candidates must note that the seat allotment list is provisional. The MH CET Law 2026 seat allotment is finalised only after the allotted colleges upload the list of the admitted candidates on their portal.
