Optimize Your Study Environment: Create a distraction-free study environment for math, a subject demanding high concentration. Background music, chosen carefully for a relaxing atmosphere, can aid focus. Eliminate distractions to enhance your ability to solve complex problems in geometry, algebra, or trigonometry.

Build a Mathematical Dictionary: Compile notes, flashcards, or cheat sheets containing essential math concepts, terminology, and definitions. Include meanings, key points, and sample answers for quick reference. This resource will serve as a handy tool for reviewing and reinforcing your understanding.

Apply Math to Real-World Problems: Relate mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios to make them more tangible. Applying math to practical situations can alter your perspective and enhance comprehension. For instance, use probability to assess risks in everyday decisions, such as buying a lottery ticket.

MH CET Law Maths Questions and Answers

Here are a few samples of MH CET LAW Maths Questions and Answers which can help students to get comfortable with the type of questions they might encounter in the exam. The questions are as follows:

Q1. Excluding stoppages, the speed of a bus is 54 \mathrm{kmph} and including stoppages, it is 45 \mathrm{kmph}. For how many minutes does the bus stop per hour?

A] 9

B] 10

C] 12

D] 20

Answer - Option B

Explanation
Due to stoppages, it covers 9 \mathrm{~km} less.

Time taken to cover 9 \mathrm{~km}=\left(\frac{9}{54} \times 60\right) \mathrm{min}=10 \mathrm{~min}.

Q2. In a flight of 600 \mathrm{~km}, an aircraft was slowed down due to bad weather. Its average speed for the trip was reduced by 200 \mathrm{~km} / \mathrm{hr}and the time of flight increased by 30 minutes. The duration of the flight is:

A] 1 hour

B] 5 hour

C] 6 hour

D] 7 hour

Answer - Option A

Explanation
Let the duration of the flight be x hours.

\begin{aligned} & \text { Then, } \frac{600}{x}-\frac{600}{x+(1 / 2)}=200 \\ & \Rightarrow \frac{600}{x}-\frac{1200}{2 x+1}=200 \\ & \Rightarrow x(2 x+1)=3 \\ & \Rightarrow 2 x^2+x-3=0 \\ & \Rightarrow(2 x+3)(x-1)=0 \\ & \Rightarrow x=1 \mathrm{hr} . \quad \text { [neglecting the -ve value of } x] \end{aligned}

Q3. A boat goes a certain distance at 30 km/hr and comes back the same distance at 60 km/hr. What is the average speed (in km/hr) for the total journey?

A] 45

B] 40

C] 35

D] 50

Answer - Option B

Explanation

Q4. There are two solutions of sulphuric acid (acid + water) with concentration of 50% and 80% respectively. They are mixed in a certain ratio to get a 62% sulphuric acid solution. This solution is mixed with 6 litres of water to get back 50% solution. How much of the 80% solution has been used in the entire process?

A] 15 litres

B] 12 Litres

C] 10 Litres

D] None of these

Answer - Option C

Q5. The measure of the sum of the interior angles of a regular heptagon is

A] 900°

B] 300°

C] 600°

D] 400°

Answer - Option A

Explanation
Sum of the interior angles of a convex polygon of n sides = (2n – 4)90°.

For heptagon, n = 7

So sum of angle is (2x7-4)90° = 10 x 90° = 900°

Q6. The slant height of a bucket is 45 cm and the diameter of its top and bottom are 56 cm and 14 cm respectively. The curved surface area (in cm2) of the bucket is

A] 4025

B] 5045

C] 4950

D] 1020

Answer - Option c

Explanation
Here, l = 45 cm, R = 28 cm and r = 7 cm.

\\\therefore \text { curved surface area } \\\\=\pi l(R+r)=\frac{22}{7} \times 45 \times(28+7) cm ^{2}\\\\=4950 cm ^{2}

Q7. Find the surface area of a sphere in cm2 whose volume is 4851 cm3.

A] 1300

B] 1366

C] 1370

D] 1386

Answer - Option D

Explanation
Let the radius of the sphere be r cm.

Then, \text { its volume }=\left(\frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3}\right) cm ^{3}

\begin{aligned} \frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3}=4851 & \Rightarrow \frac{4}{3} \times \frac{22}{7} \times r^{3}=4851 \\ & \Rightarrow r^{3}=\left(4851 \times \frac{3}{4} \times \frac{7}{22}\right)=\left(\frac{441 \times 21}{8}\right)=\left(\frac{21}{2}\right)^{3} \\ & \Rightarrow r=\frac{21}{2}=10.5 \end{aligned}

Thus, the radius of the sphere is 10.5 cm.

\\ \text{Surface area of the sphere} =\left(4 \pi r^{2}\right) \text{sq units} \\\\ =\left(4 \times \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{21}{2} \times \frac{21}{2}\right) cm ^{2} \\\\=1386\;\; cm ^{2}

Q8. The ratio of two numbers is 2:5. Their LCM is 120. Determine the second number.

A] 24

B] 45

C] 60

D] 85

Answer - Option C

Explanation
2 : 5 = 120

2x : 5x = 120

10x = 120

x = 12

Second number is 60
