The Bar Council of India is expected to announce the results for AIBE 19 in the last week of March 2025. In response to an inquiry by Careers360, the BCI confirmed that results will be announced by March end. Candidates who appeared for the All India Bar Examination on December 22, can check their results on the official website - allindiabarexamination.com. Last year, the AIBE results were declared on March 26, 2024. According to past trends, the Bar Council of India is expected to release the AIBE 19 results between March 24 and 30, 2025.
Those who successfully achieve the revised passing marks in AIBE 2024 will be awarded a Certificate of Practice (CoP), which is a mandatory certificate required to practice law in India. It must be noted that the passing marks in AIBE 19 are 45% for general/OBC and 40% for SC/ST candidates. The revised total marks in AIBE 19 after considering the changes in the final answer key are 93 marks.

Once the AIBE 2024 results are declared, candidates who think there is a correction mistake in their results, will have the option to request a recheck of their OMR sheets through the official website. During this window, candidates must submit an online application along with a non-refundable rechecking fee of Rs. 200 per OMR sheet. After the re-evaluation is completed, the updated results will be sent to candidates via email.

No, a person cannot practice law in India without passing the All-India Bar Examination (AIBE). After completing an LLB degree from a recognized university, a law graduate must enroll with a State Bar Council and must clear the AIBE exam conducted by the Bar Council of India. So, without clearing AIBE, one cannot legally appear or argue in court.
