Calculating the AIBE Score Using the Answer Key

To estimate the score using the AIBE 20 provisional answer key, follow this detailed process:

    1. Compare the answers: Begin by matching each answer that the candidate marked on the OMR sheet with the corresponding correct answer provided in the provisional answer key.

    2. Count correct answers: For every question where the candidate's response matches the official answer, count one mark.

    3. No negative marking: The AIBE does not penalise wrong or unanswered questions. Therefore, incorrect or unattempted questions neither add nor subtract from the score.

    4. Calculate the total score: The final score is simply the sum of all correct responses. For example, if the candidate answered 75 questions correctly, the final score will be 75 out of 100.
