The Bar Council of India (BCI) has notified the AIBE 2026 exam date. The AIBE 21 exam will be held on June 7, 2026, in offline mode at the designated exam centres. The AIBE admit card 2026 was issued online on May 22, 2026, at allindiabarexamination.com. Only those candidates who have registered for the AIBE exam can download the admit card. Candidates must carry the physical copy of the admit card to these exam centres. The last date to register for AIBE XI was April 30, 2026.

This exam is compulsory for all law graduates enrolled with any State Bar Council who wish to practice law in India. Candidates who miss out the application deadline could apply for the AIBE XXI exam by May 1, 2026 and pay the late registration fees. The Bar Council of India (BCI) announced these dates during Delhi High Court proceedings. Earlier, the court pushed BCI to fix delays from prior AIBEs, which confirmed the AIBE 21 exam in June 2026.

Students need scanned copies of specific documents for upload during AIBE registration. These required documents are:
Recent passport-size photograph.
Scanned signature.
LLB degree certificate or provisional marksheet.
State Bar Council enrollment certificate (if enrolled; upload later if not available).
Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PwD).
ID proof (Aadhaar, voter ID, passport, etc).

The AIBE 21 registration form was released on February 11, 2026, at allindiabarexamination.com. The steps to submit the AIBE application form are given below.

Register with name, email ID, and phone number to get login details.
Log in and enter personal and educational details
Provide State Bar Council enrollment details
Choose the preferred exam city or centre location from the available list of options.
Upload scanned copies of all necessary documents in the specified format
Pay the AIBE 21 application fee and submit the form
After final submission and successful payment, download and print the confirmation page for your records and future reference.

BCI will close the AIBE 21 application correction window till May 3, 2026. Candidates who require to make any changes must follow the given correction process:

Click on the "AIBE XXI (21) 2026 Correction Window" link when it is activated.
Log in using registration ID, password, email, or mobile number.
Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile/email and access the correction form.
Review and update allowed details (e.g., name, DOB, enrollment number, category, photo/signature, exam centre preferences). Locked fields like academic records and contact details cannot be changed.
Submit the changes and download the updated confirmation page or PDF; print and save this for future reference.

BCI has not specified any age limit for candidtes to appear for the AIBE XXI exam.
