The Bar Council of India has published the AIBE 21 results on July 18, 2026. A total of 65.92% of candidates passed, close to the usual bar exam passing rate. As per official statistics, a total of 1,75,701 candidates appeared, and 115,805 students qualified. In another major update, the Monitoring Committee moderated the result and reduced the AIBE 21 qualifying marks by 3. The revised AIBE 21 passing marks are 42 for the General category and 37 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. 20 results have been withheld due to malpractice cases. With the declaration of the results, BCI has also published the AIBE 22 notification. The AIBE 22 exam applications will begin from August 19, 2026. The AIBE 22 exam date is November 29, 2026. The AIBE exam is now conducted twice a year. The detailed AIBE 22 schedule has been given below:

No. If you are currently in the 5th semester of a 3-year LL.B., you generally cannot register for AIBE yet.
Under the current BCI rules, a 3-year LL.B. student must be in the final semester (6th semester) and have no backlogs from previous semesters to register for AIBE.
