Candidates are required to qualify the AIBE 21 exam to obtain the Certificate of Practice (CoP). General and OBC candidates are required to obtain at least 45 marks out of 100 to qualify the exam. Similarly, SC/ST candidates require 40 marks out of 100 to pass the AIBE 21 exam. The AIBE 21 qualifying percentage remains the same; whereas the marks might change in case there are any changes in the final answer key.
BCI will issue the CoP to the qualified candidates after around three to five months from the AIBE 21 result date. Till the CoP is issued, candidates must register themselves with their State Bar Council. Candidates who have not qualified the AIBE 21 exam must start preparing for the next attempt. BCI is likely to conduct the AIBE 22 in December 2026.
