The AIBE exam, being conducted twice a year, will allow law graduates more opportunities to qualify the exam. Earlier, the AIBE 21 was conducted on June 7, 2026.

BCI will specify the AIBE 22 registration date in the official notification. The AIBE exam registration starts around four months before the exam date. BCI opens the registration window for a span of around two months. Candidates are advised to apply for the AIBE 22 exam on time and provide valid and accurate documents.

Create a new account by providing a name, email ID, and mobile number
Log in with the generated credentials
Fill out the AIBE 22 application form with personal, academic, and enrolment details
Upload scanned copies of the required documents, such as a photo, signature, and enrolment certificate
Choose a preferred AIBE exam centre and exam language
Pay the AIBE 22 application fee online using net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI
Review all the details carefully and submit the application form
Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future use.

Note that candidates can only complete the AIBE 22 registrations online. After the registration deadline, BCI will open the AIBE 22 application correction window for a brief time.

BCI will soon release the AIBE 22 registration date and deadline on its official website.
Candidates can appear for the AIBE exam as many times as required to pass the exam. BCI has not provided any cap on the number of times a candidates can appear for the AIBE exam.
Candidates who have completed 3-year LLB or five-year LLB from a BCI recognised institute are eligible to apply. Final-year law students are also eligible to apply. There are no minimum marks required, age limit or enrollment certificate required to apply.
No, to practice law in India candidates require the Certificate of Practice (CoP) which can only be obtained by passing the AIBE exam.
Candidates who have obtained their LLB degree from a BCI recognised university but have not enrolled with any State Bar Council are eligible to apply for AIBE exam.
