To become an advocate in India, a law graduate has to clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE). As per the 2024 Supreme Court ruling, final-year law students (without backlogs) are now eligible to appear for the AIBE exam before formal enrollment, though a Certificate of Practice (COP) is only issued after enrollment. Once the candidate clears the AIBE exam, they will be awarded with a Certificate of Practice (COP). The AIBE exam is compulsory for candidates who obtained their law degree from 2009-10 onwards. For 2026, the AIBE XXI syllabus includes the new criminal laws: BNS, BNSS, and BSA.

Forgetting to darken the OMR bubbles is a common mistake. Because you wrote your roll number and details manually, your OMR sheet will likely undergo manual evaluation by the authorities. While machine scanners require darkened bubbles, human evaluators can still identify your sheet and process it.
