Securing a CLAT 2026 rank under 2000 opens doors to nearly all tier 1 and tier 2 National Law Universities (NLUs). Usually, a CLAT rank under 500 secures a seat at top-tier colleges like NLSIU Bengaluru or NALSAR Hyderabad. However, a rank between 500 and 2000 also gives a strong possibility for the candidate to secure a seat at respected universities like NLIU Bhopal and RMLNLU Lucknow. For students in reserved categories like OBC, this rank often guarantees a spot in the top three NLUs.
