    Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, despite being a relatively new NLU, is a popular choice among law aspirants. It ranks high in the candidate’s NLU preference list as evidenced by higher NLU cut-offs for the university. MNLU Mumbai is ranked 31st in the NIRF law rankings 2024.     The Consortium of National Law Universities will conduct CLAT 2025 counselling as per the revised result. The Delhi HC had earlier directed the Consortium of NLUs to publish the revised CLAT 2025 results in a judgement passed on April 23.

    Factors Influencing CLAT MNLU Mumbai Cut-Off 2025

    The factors determining the CLAT 2025 cut-off for MNLU Mumbai are given below:

    • Number of candidates giving MNLU as a higher preference: The more the number of candidates preferring MNLU Mumbai, the higher will be the cut-off..

    • Seat intake: A higher seat intake will lower the rank candidates need for MNLU Mumbai

    • MNLU Mumbai reservation criteria: The MNLU Mumbai admissions will be done as per the CLAT 2025 reservation criteria prescribed for the university. SC and ST category candidates need a lower rank compared to candidates from general and EWS category. Similarly, candidates with domicile reservation can secure an MNLU Mumbai seat with a lower rank.

    • Difficulty level of the exam: The difficulty level of Common Law Admission Test will also determine the rank needed for MNLU Mumbai admission. A more difficult exam will lower the cut-off while an easier exam will result in higher cut-offs to secure an MNLU Mumbai seat.

    How Hard It is to Secure a MNLU Mumbai Seat?

    As seen in the table above, a general candidate will need a rank of below 600 in CLAT 2025 to secure a seat at MNLU Mumbai. The rank required for SC and ST categories can go as low as over 10000 and 30000 respectively due to domicile reservation offered to these categories.

    MNLU Mumbai Seat Intake

    MNLU Mumbai offers 5-year LLB and LLM programmes. The seat intake is an important determining factor for the cut-off.     i have to give clat 2027 but when my result came i got rt in additional subject but overall pass then i gave improvement exam and passed it and have 2 marksheet 1 containing 6 subject marks and written rt in additional subject and in second its just marks of maths am i eligible for nlu admissision

    For CLAT 2027 UG, candidates need to have passed Class 12/equivalent with at least 45% marks, or 40% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
