    CLAT marks 40 which is a score of just over 30% cannot be considered a good performance in the exam. Most candidates with a CLAT score of 40 marks will find it difficult to gain NLU admission. The expected rank for CLAT marks 40 is around 33000 or lower. At this rank, only ST candidates can clear the CLAT cut-off for some of the participating NLUs.     Through the Common Law Admission Test candidates will be admitted into the 5-year LLB and LLM programmes of participating universities. CLAT 2025 was conducted on December 1, 2024.

    Is CLAT Marks 40 a Good Score in CLAT?

    CLAT mark 40 is not a good score in CLAT. The NLU cut-offs for most universities are way above the CLAT score of 40. ST candidates with domicile reservations will be able to gain admission to some of the participating NLUs in CLAT with this score.     i have to give clat 2027 but when my result came i got rt in additional subject but overall pass then i gave improvement exam and passed it and have 2 marksheet 1 containing 6 subject marks and written rt in additional subject and in second its just marks of maths am i eligible for nlu admissision

    For CLAT 2027 UG, candidates need to have passed Class 12/equivalent with at least 45% marks, or 40% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
