CLAT marks 40 which is a score of just over 30% cannot be considered a good performance in the exam. Most candidates with a CLAT score of 40 marks will find it difficult to gain NLU admission. The expected rank for CLAT marks 40 is around 33000 or lower. At this rank, only ST candidates can clear the CLAT cut-off for some of the participating NLUs.
