CLAT Application Date:01 Aug' 25 - 31 Oct' 25
The CLAT 2025 results were announced on December 07, much before they were set to be announced. While there is no explanation for the consortium’s decision to upload CLAT results 2025 unexpectedly, the final answer keys, both CLAT UG and CLAT PG have seen some modifications. Nevertheless, if there are discrepancies in the marks obtained in the final answer key, result and provisional answer key of CLAT 2025, the grievance submission portal was opened for candidates on December 08, 2024. Grievances against the final answer key and CLAT result 2025 can be submitted online from the official website of consortium, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The inconsistencies in marks calculated from the CLAT answer key and as shown in the CLAT result will have serious implications for candidates’ chances of getting admission to NLUs. So, it is crucial to report such issues. The NLU Consortium has constituted a Grievance Redressal Committee under the chairmanship of Justice G Raghuram, Former Judge, Andhra Pradesh High Court and former director, the National Judicial Academy.
This is the last stage where the NLU Consortium may entertain the answer key discrepancies that may have been left unresolved. Interestingly, while four questions were withdrawn from the CLAT UG question paper and three questions of logical reasoning were modified, some other objections filed by students from the English and Legal reasoning sections were not sustained.
As per the final answer key, 8 questions have been modified in the CLAT PG answer key. However, students have reported at least 12 such questions. A petition was also filed in the Supreme Court regarding alleged discrepancies in CLAT 2025 and to delay the result declaration. Before it could go for a hearing, the consortium unexpectedly announced the CLAT results.
Now the students are only left with the Grievance Redressal Committee. The submissions can be made from December 08, 12 noon. The process of grievance submission is mentioned below.

Candidates should also note that no modifications were announced in CLAT results through grievance submissions in recent years. The grievance portal is provided every time after the declaration of CLAT results. The committee constituted for this purpose examines the overall CLAT exam. However, the complaints received by it or its findings have not been made public in recent years.
On Question asked by student community
Hello,
While NLUs are costly, you can still pursue government-funded law education through state-funded universities and their affiliated colleges that accept CLAT scores, such as institutes like Banaras Hindu University and Aligarh Muslim University.
I hope it will clear your query!!
It is always better to take the CLAT exam right after Class 12 if your goal is to build a career in law, because CLAT UG is specifically designed for admission into integrated five-year law programs like BA LLB, BCom LLB, or BBA LLB. Appearing after Class 12 saves you time, as you complete both graduation and law together in a single course. On the other hand, if you first complete graduation and then plan for law, you will not be eligible for CLAT UG but instead for CLAT PG, which is meant for admission into LLM programs. This path takes longer, because you first spend three or four years on graduation and then add another three years in an LLB program if you choose not to go for an integrated course. So, if you are already sure about pursuing law as your career, writing CLAT right after Class 12 is the smarter and time-saving option, while writing it after graduation makes sense only if you are considering higher studies in law or a shift in career later.
For CLAT, the most important topics are from Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs & GK, the Indian Constitution, English Language, Quantitative Techniques and Logical Reasoning. For a brief detail you can go through the following link: https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-important-topics
Thank You.
Hi dear candidate,
Both the colleges Maharaja Agrasen (MAIMS) or Gitarattan (GIBS) are affiliated to IP University and allows admission either by CLAT or IPU CET Law. Without either of these exams, your admission is NOT accepted there. You can try looking for management quota seats in these colleges if you have got good marks in 12th class.
