The Bar Council of India (BCI) has commenced the registration process for All India Bar Examination (AIBE-20) on September 29, 2025. While applying for AIBE 20 (XX), candidates have to upload all the relevant documents in the prescribed format. Candidates are advised to check the official website of AIBE before completing the registration process, as it includes important dates and information regarding the bar exam. The All India Bar Examination is a mandatory certification exam conducted by the BCI for law graduates. Candidates who have completed a three-year or five-year LLB degree, or those in their final year without any backlogs, are eligible to appear for the bar exam.
The AIBE exam 2025 registration last date is October 28, 2025. However, the last date of payments through online mode for AIBE XX is October 29, 2025. Candidates need to submit the application form and also upload AIBE 20 registration documents as per the schedule. The documents required have been mentioned below:

Scanned signature
LLB graduation certificate
LLB mark sheets
LLM certificate and mark sheet (In case of additional qualification)
Advocate ID card (If issued by the State Bar Council)
State Bar Council Enrollment Certificate

Candidates who want to apply for AIBE 20 must have completed either 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB degree from a recognised university. Likewise, candidates must be enrolled with a State Bar Council to be eligible for the bar exam. Final semester law students (3-year or 5-year LL.B) without backlogs in their degree programme can also apply for the bar exam. There is no age bar for applicants, allowing law graduates of all age groups to register for the bar exam.

Create a login account by using your name, email ID and mobile number.
Log in with your generated registration number and password.
Fill in the AIBE 20 application form with personal, academic, and enrolment details.
Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and enrolment certificate in the prescribed format.
Choose your preferred exam centre and exam language.
Pay the application fee of AIBE 20 online using net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.
Review all the details carefully before submitting the application form.
Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future use.
The registration process of AIBE 20 is conducted only in online mode.
Candidates must ensure that they meet the AIBE 20 eligibility criteria before registering for the exam.
Candidates without an enrolment certificate and final-year law students can also register for AIBE.

Before proceeding with the application form, candidates must verify their mobile number and email ID through OTP.
Candidates must ensure that they provide a valid mobile number and email ID, as all future communication will be sent to these registered contacts.
It must be noted that, applicant’s mobile number/Email-ID will serve as their login ID.
The OTP authentication code will be sent via SMS and email to validate the mobile number and email ID.
The applicant’s mobile number entered during registration will be used throughout the portal and cannot be changed later.

The AIBE(All India Bar Examination) is conducted only for law graduate students to get a certificate for Practice to practice law in court in India. This exam is conducted in offline mode, including 100 multiple-choice questions and has no negative marking. Students need to score at least 45 out of 100 questions and 40 for SC/ST candidates.
The registration for this exam has officially closed for the 2025 exam session.
