IPU CET Law 2019 - Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has released the IPU CET 2019 seat allotment result and also the cutoff for round before sliding round on August 3. Candidates who have been allotted seats need to download provisional allotment/offer letter by August 4. The choice filling for IPU CET 2019 Round I counselling was open from July 21-23. The application form for IPU CET law 2019 is now closed. GGSIPU will admit candidates into its BA/BBA LLB programmes through CLAT and no longer conduct IPU CET law 2019 for admissions. Candidates seeking admission into the undergraduate law programme needed to appear in the Common Law Admission Test and qualify the same. The national level law examination was conducted in offline mode for the law aspirants to grab seats into two undergraduate law programmes - BA LL.B & BBA LL.B. IPU offers a total of 1700 BA LL.B seats and 660 BBA LL.B seats. Eight institutes will be allotted via the IPU CET Law counselling. IPU CET Law Admission Process 2019
IPU has published the detailed admission procedure on March 22, 2019. This year the admissions to the university will be conducted through CLAT. Candidates fill the application forms in online mode. After filling the application forms successfully, candidates are then issued admit cards. After the conduct of CLAT, the results were announced. The candidates whose name features in the merit list are then called for the counselling procedure followed by the commencement of class.
IPU will now conduct admissions to its undergraduate law programmes through CLAT. Given below are the important dates related to IPU admissions. Some dates are tentative and the official dates will be updated here once they are announced.

GGSIPU has announced the eligibility criteria of IPU CET Law 2019 on March 22 along with the issue of notification. As per the IPU CET Law 2019 Eligibility Criteria laid down by the university, a candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of the subjects. An aspirant of IPU CET Law 2019 should also passed English as a subject. There is no age bar to appear in IPU CET Law entrance examination.
Aspirants of IPU CET Law 2019 can now get access to the application form of IPU CET Law 2019. IPU has released the IPU CET Law Application Form 2019 in online mode. After filling the IPU CET Law 2019 Application Form with all the relevant details candidates need to remit the prescribed application fee. Candidates can fill the application fee through online payment modes - Credit/Debit/Internet-banking. After remitting the fee, candidates then need to finally submit the application form of IPU CET Law 2019. It is also advised that candidates take a print out of the IPU CET Law 2019 Application form for future references.
IPU CET Law Exam Centres 2019
This year, instead of IPU CET Law 2019, CLAT was conducted for admissions into the university. CLAT 2019 was conducted across 44 exam centres.
Indraprastha University will not release the admit card this year, instead, the CLAT 2019 admit card will be used during the admission process. For ease, CLAT 2019 admit card will be referred to as IPU CET 2019 admit card here. Candidates could download the IPU CET Law 2019 Admit card in online mode. All the details related to the examination and candidature were inscribed on the admit card of IPU CET Law 2019. It was advised to the candidates that they downloaded the IPU CET Law 2019 Admit card before the last date of downloading. Candidates who fill the application form and submit the same successfully were issued IPU CET Law 2019 Admit card.
How to prepare for IPU CET Law 2019
Preparing for IPU CET Law 2019 is basically preparing for CLAT 2019. CLAT is not difficult for those who follow a system and a timetable. Candidates can go for the following trick and tips to crack IPU CET Law 2019/CLAT 2019 easily -

The exam pattern of IPU CET Law 2019 (CLAT 2019) was announced by the Consortium of NLUs. As per the IPU CET Law 2019 Exam Pattern, candidates will be given a questions paper with the total marks of 600 marks and will be conducted in offline mode. There will be 150 questions of four marks each. Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answers and there will be the deduction of one mark for each incorrect answers. The question paper will consist of multiple choice questions where candidates will be given four options with one correct answer to the mark.
As per the syllabus of IPU CET Law 2019, candidates will be examined on the topics namely - English Language and Comprehension, Logical reasoning, General knowledge and Legal aptitude.
Since IPU will not be conducting a separate entrance this year, the result of CLAT 2019 will be considered the result of IPU CET Law 2019. Candidates can access to the IPU CET Law 2019 Result in online mode. All the information related to the marks scored and the qualifying status can be found in the IPU CET Law Result 2019. After the release of IPU CET Law 2019 Result, candidates will also be issued a merit list. Candidates whose name will feature in the merit list will be shortlisted for the counselling procedure.
After the declaration of the result, IPU has released the IPU CET cutoff before sliding round on August 3. The cutoff of IPU CET Law 2019 for all category candidates for Round I and II are also available. It should be noted that the IPU CET Law Cutoff 2019 may vary for different participating institutes. Candidates can take a go through the cutoffs of different participating institutes to get an idea about last ranks for which admission is offered.

The round II seat allotment was announced on July 30 and can be checked through candidate log-in accounts; results for Round I was declared on July 24. Allotted candidates can download allotment letter by August 1. The choice filling of IPU CET counselling 2019 for Round I was open from July 21-23. As a part of the counselling procedure, candidates are required to first register themselves online for participating in admission counselling, choice locking of seats, fee submission and document verification. The candidates needs to report in person at the allotted college for seeking admissions in the desired law programmes on a said date. The counselling of IPU CET Law 2019 may be organised for as many as three rounds depending upon the availability of seats.
IPU CET Law Seats and Reservation 2019
85% seats are reserved for candidates of Delhi region which means that the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/Institute located in NCT of Delhi. These seats will be filled up through the merit /rank list of the respective CET Code prepared for Delhi region candidates. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination through Distance/Open Education system of any recognized University/ Institute and had his/her Study Centres in Delhi will be considered as Delhi Region Candidates. In such cases, candidates will also be required to prove themselves as Delhi candidates with valid proof.
15% seats are reserved for the candidates outside Delhi which means the candidates who have passed their qualifying degree from any school/Institute outside Delhi.
For institutions located in Delhi/NCR, the division of seats will be done on the basis of Delhi and outside Delhi candidates for which the decision will be taken by NCTD.

what is the minimum rank will be required in CLAT 2020 to get admission in IPU University?
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will be taking admissions this year through CLAT. Untill last year, it used to fill its seats through IPU CET. But keeping in mind that was scrapped last year, this year the university will be taking admits through CLAT. Since there is no previous records for it, it is going to be slightly difficult to predict the cutoff. Still keep your hopes high!
how much score is required minimum to get into ipu college if i am general and from delhi
In order to be eligible to take admission in Indraprastha University for LLB course, the candidate should have passed their 12th class under 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with atleast an aggregate of 50% marks.
And rest it depends upon your score in the entrance test conducted by the university.

The admissions to the university will be conducted through CLAT, application forms are available online. After submitting the form you will be issued the admit card soon after. If your name is in the merit list then you will be called for the councelling session.

CLAT would have been the best option for you for BA LLB but it seems you haven't applied for it. Therefore, you have to contend with low end universities for doing your law degree.
