IPU CET Law 2018 Admission Process
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admissions to its only two undergraduate law programmes through IPU CET Law 2018. The notification of IPU CET Law 2017 begins the admission process exam, followed by the application process, issue of admit card, conduct of exam and declaration of result. Once the result of IPU CET Law 2018 is declared, candidates will be invited for the counselling process which will be based on the merit secured by them. The counselling will be held online where candidates will be required to register for the process and choose their preferred college. The university admission council then allots seat to candidates based on their marks and preferred choice. Once the seat is allotted, the candidate will have to submit the fees to confirm the seat. The entire admission process of IPU CET Law 2018 ends in the month of August with the commencement of classes.

Admissions to the only undergraduate law programmes offered by the university namely BA LLB and BBA LLB in various IP affiliated law colleges is being done through counselling of IPU CET Law 2018 which has began on June 14, 2018. The university is organising an online IPU CET Law 2018 counselling for offering seats to the shortlisted candidates based on their marks scored in IPU CET Law 2018. Further, the IPU CET Law counselling is carried on inter-se-merit as prepared by the university during result declaration. IPU CET Law 2018 counselling process involves various steps including online registration for participating in admission counselling, choice locking of seats, fee submission and document verification. The candidates needs to report in person at the allotted college for seeking admissions in the LLB programmes on a specified date. The counselling of IPU CET Law 2018 may be organised for as many as three rounds excluding a spot round counselling.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University announced the result of IPU CET Law 2018 on May 27, 2018, along with the merit list and scorecards of common entrance test for undergraduate law admissions. IPU CET Law 2018 result mentioned the qualifying status in the university level LLB entrance exam. The minimum academic qualification required to apply and get admission into the law programmes of IP university is the eligibility criteria for IPU CET Law. Applicants must read the IPU CET Law 2018 eligibility criteria before beginning to fill the application form. The IPU CET Law eligibility criteria mention that a candidate needs to have passed 10+2 board examination from a recognised institution with English as a compulsory subject. The minimum marks required is 50% in the aggregate of the subjects studied in the 12th board examination. Aspirants must note that according to the order passed by High Court, there is no age limit for appearing for any law entrance exam. Thus, interested candidates of any age can apply for IPU CET Law 2018.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University announced application form of IPU CET Law on February 19, 2018. Candidates interested in appearing for IPU CET Law 2018 needed to fill the IPUCET Law 2018 application form in online mode. Candidates had to register online by providing personal details including their name, date of birth, email id and mobile number before begin to fill the IPU CET Law application form. The candidates needed to remit an application fee of Rs.1000 in online mode for IPU CET Law 2018. The application form of IPUCET Law 2018 complete in all respect was to be submitted before the last date, i.e., May 1, 2018. Any request from the candidates regarding submission of IPU CET Law application form 2018 submission after the last date was not entertained under any circumstances.
Indraprastha University issued the admit card of IPU CET Law 2018 on May 5, 2018, in online mode. The applicants could download the admit card of IPU CET 2018 from the website after entering their login id and password. The IPU CET BBA LLB 2018 admit card is the hall ticket to sit for the IPU CET Law 2018. Candidates who reached the examination centre without the admit card of IPU CET Law 2018 admit card and a valid id proof were not allowed to sit for the examination. Admit Card of IPU CET BA LLB 2017 mentions examination as well as candidature details including exam roll number, centre address, timing and name beside other printed instructions.
IP University conducted the IPU CET Law 2018 on May 19, 2018, at various exam centres. The IPU LLB entrance examination was held offline or in paper pen mode where candidates were required to answer as many as 150 questions carrying four marks each. The time allotted to finish the test was 150 minutes or 2 hours and 20 minutes. IPU CET Law 2018 commenced the university level LLB entrance exam at 10:30 am. GGSIPU followed a negative marking policy under which every wrong answer will lead to deduction of one mark from the total scored marks. Applicants were required to answer a question with only one option among those given. Questions responded with more than one answer option lead to negative marking.
