State CET Cell commenced the MH CET 3-year LLB 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) on June 11, 2026. The last date for MH CET Law CAP registration 2026 has now extended to July 13, 2026. The counselling 2026 will be conducted in three CAP rounds, followed by an Institutional Level Round (ACAP) for vacant seats.
Before each CAP round, the CET Cell will complete the e-scrutiny of documents, publish the alphabetical list, invite objections through the grievance window, and release the final merit list. Based on the final merit list, eligible candidates will be allowed to fill college preferences and participate in the CAP seat allotment process. Candidates who have secured a non-zero percentile in the MH CET Law 3-year LLB 2026 examination are eligible to participate in the counselling process and seek admission to participating law colleges across Maharashtra.

Candidates satisfying the following eligibility conditions can participate in the MH CET 3-year LLB counselling process:
Candidates who have secured a non-zero percentile (at least 1 mark or above) in the MH CET Law 3-year LLB 2026 examination.
Candidates must have a recognised Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks (45% for Open/EWS category, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST categories).
Both Maharashtra State (MS) candidates and All India / Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates are eligible.
Candidates applying under NRI, OCI, PIO, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC), and Foreign National categories can participate under institutional quotas.
Candidates who complete the online MH CET 3-year CAP registration, upload all required documents, and clear the online e-scrutiny/document verification process.
Candidates must submit the following documents during CAP online registration:
MH CET 3-year LLB 2026 scorecard and admit card
CAP registration confirmation/application form
APAAR ID and Aadhaar card/valid photo identity proof
Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
Graduation mark sheets and degree/provisional certificate
Domicile and nationality proof (for Maharashtra State candidates)
Caste, caste validity, non-creamy layer, EWS, PwD or other applicable reservation/quota certificates
Gap certificate (if applicable)
Recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature
The State CET Cell conducts document verification through an online e-scrutiny process. Under this process, officials verify the uploaded documents, educational qualifications, candidature type, domicile, reservation claims and other eligibility documents submitted by candidates. If any discrepancy or missing document is identified, the candidate receives a notification through their MH CET Law candidate login portal and is allowed to rectify the error within the prescribed timeline.
After the e-scrutiny process is completed, the CET Cell publishes the alphabetical list of registered candidates, followed by the grievance window and the final merit list. Only candidates whose names appear in the final merit list become eligible for college option filling and MH CET Law 2026 seat allotment.
