NLSIU Bengaluru is the top government law college in India as per the NIRF rankings 2024. It is followed by NLU Delhi, NALSAR Hyderabad, and WBNUJS Kolkata at the second, third and fourth positions. The top four government law colleges as per NIRF law rankings 2024 remain unchanged from last year. In all there are 25 government law colleges in the NIRF law rankings 2024.
In continuation with the past trends observed in NIRF law rankings , the top government law colleges have mostly been the top NLUs and central universities. The NIRF law rankings 2024 are prepared by taking into account various parameters such as teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.
