PU BA LLB 2025 Result - Rechecking and Verification
In case, if any candidate wants to get their answer sheet verified, they need to submit an application to Panjab University. The fee for verification of PU BA LLB answer sheet is Rs. 10,000. The candidate will receive a copy of their answer sheet, and if there is any discrepancy in it, the correction will be made, and a refund of the verification fee will be issued.
PU BA LLB Result 2025 - Minimum Passing Marks
Panjab University has set a minimum passing marks criteria for PU BA LLB entrance exam. Candidates securing less than the minimum PU BA LLB cutoff marks will not be considered for admission. Those candidates who clear the cut-off will be offered admission on merit cum preference. The minimum passing marks are mentioned in the table below.

PU BA LLB Merit List 2025
After the declaration of the PU BA LLB 2025 result, a merit list will be released for PU BA LLB and PU B.Com LLB based on the scores in the exam. The university releases the merit list for all categories separately. Admission to the university will be based on the merit cum preference criteria. The PU BA LLB merit list 2025 will carry details such as the candidate’s name, marks obtained in PU BA LLB 2025 exam, and merit rank.
PU BA LLB 2025 Tie Breaker Rule
If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam, then the following tie-breaker rule will be applied to determine the rank.
- A candidate getting higher percentage of marks in qualifying examination (10+2 examination) shall rank higher in order of merit.
- If the tie persists, then the candidate obtaining a higher percentage of marks in the 10th class or an equivalent examination shall rank higher
- If the tie still remains unresolved, then the candidate senior in age shall rank higher in order of merit.
PU BA LLB Counselling 2025
Panjab University conducts counselling for those candidates who qualify the PU BA LLB 2025 entrance exam. The selected candidates will receive a notification for the detailed schedule of PU BA LLB 2025 counselling. Candidates need to complete the verification and admission process during the counselling. Candidates need to visit the law centre of Panjan University and submit all the required documents along with the admission form and make the payment of the admission fee.

Hello Aashish,
Speaking strictly in terms of the entrance exam, if you score remains in the 50s range, then there are slim chances of you getting a seat. Judging by the cut off trends of previous years, it might be difficult for you to secure a seat for yourself in any category. However, it is not completely impossible as it ultimately depends upon the paper and exam pattern. You also have a good 10+2 percentage backing you up. There are chances that you may score well in the logical section due to your PCM background.

The PU counselling for law courses is just a process where, based on the final merit list, the students are first grouped and then called to campus with essential documents. There is no such interview/PI or GD round. These seats are allotted based on their merit in the entrance exam along with the preferences entered.
At the time of enrollment, precedence will be given to applicants who received higher grades than the other candidates. Following PU BA LLB counselling in 2022, the institution provides the admission list of applicants. The admission list will be made available individually for each category. In addition, the admission list will be published in stages according to the number of open seats in each round for all candidate categories.
The university will occupy the remaining spots after completing the counselling procedure. When it comes time to fill the open seats, applicants who had actually participated in the counselling process and were assigned a waiting list will be taken into consideration. The candidates will need to show up at the location on the designated day in order to fill the open seats. Candidates won't be admitted to PU BALLB 2022 if they don't arrive on campus before the deadline.
Candidates are asked to submit the original (or duplicate) copies of the following documents in the counselling rounds:
- Marksheets of 10th and 12th qualifying degrees (Original)
- Birth Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Gap Year Affidavit (If applicable)
- Reserve Category certificates (If applicable)
- Graduation certificate issued by the Sports Department of Panjab University if applying under Sports Reservation
- Copy of candidate’s ID/address proof (Driving License/Voter Card/Aadhar Card etc.)
- Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh

AILET, CLAT, LSAT and other BA LLB colleges have announced the exam schedule for BA LLB Admission 2022. AILET and CLAT 2022 exam date is 1st May 2022; the registrations for both of the exams has began from the 1st week of January 2022.
