The Consortium of National Law Universities will publish the RMLNLU Lucknow 2026 merit list on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The consortium will release the merit list of RMLNLU Lucknow for each of the five rounds of CLAT counselling. The RMLNLU Lucknow 2026 merit list will contain the candidate's rank, category, and admit card number. Candidates who are included in the RMLNLU Lucknow merit list 2026 have to complete the admission process within the allotted period. Through the Common Law Admission Test, RMLNLU Lucknow offers admission into its BA LLB and LLM programme. CLAT 2026 is scheduled to be held on December 7, 2025, in offline mode.

RMLNLU Lucknow Merit List 2026

As per the CLAT 2026 seat intake, RMLNLU Lucknow offers a total of 169 seats for the BA LLB course, and 48 seats are for the LLM programme. NRI/ NRI sponsored candidates will not be included in the CLAT merit list. Instead, they have to separately apply to the university and the admissions will be done based on CLAT 2026 scores. However, foreign nationals need not appear for the CLAT 2026 and can apply directly to RMLNLU Lucknow at the institute level.

What After Publication of RMLNLU Lucknow Merit List 2026?

Only those candidates who have completed the registration for the admissions counselling process will be considered for the CLAT seat allotment. Given below are the steps to be completed by the candidates after the RMLNLU Lucknow merit list 2025 is published.

  • Candidates are required to select one of three options - freeze/float/exit through their login.

  • Candidates can select the ‘Freeze’ option if the allotted seat aligns with their NLU preference.

  • If the candidate has not been allotted their first preference NLU they may choose the ‘Float’ option in the hope of securing a higher preferred NLU.

  • Candidates need to pay a confirmation fee of Rs 20,000 upon selecting the freeze or float option.

  • Those who want to exit the counselling process at any given time can do so by selecting the exit option. These candidates will not be considered for further rounds and no seat will be allotted.

  • The candidates who are allotted the seat are required to pay the university fees which will be adjusted for the counselling registration fee and confirmation fee already paid.

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is a national level entrance exam for the programs related to engineering. It has two levels known as JEE mains (first level) and JEE advance (second level) . NEET ( National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national level examination for admission in undergraduate medical courses. It is also conducted by NTA but in offline mode as in pen and paper test. It includes courses like MBBS, BDS BHMS , BAMS etc. The exam consists of 180 questions in total 45 from each physics , chemistry , zoology and Botany. The total marks for the exam are 720 marks.

In CLAT , the 9-digit admit card number is not the same as the roll number you have to write on the OMR sheet. The OMR sheet has only 7 blocks because the CLAT roll number is shorter.

You should check your admit card again and look for the roll number printed near your name and exam details. Fill only that roll number in the OMR sheet. Do not write the 9-digit admit card number.

If you still cannot find the roll number, you can ask the exam invigilator on the exam day.
