The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS) Kolkata released the NRI/NRISponsored admissions 2026 notification on April 9, 2026. The NRI/NRI-Sponsored admissions at WBNUJS are conducted independently and not through the centralised CLAT 2026 counselling process. Candidates who appeared for the CLAT 2026 exam and aim to get admitted to WBNUJS for its BA LLB or BSc LLB program must apply directly to the university’s portal. The last date to apply for the WBNUJS Kolkata NRI/NRI-sponsored admission is April 30, 2026, before 11:59 PM.

WBNUJS offers a total of 30 seats to NRI/NRI-sponsored applicants. The table below details the number of seats allotted under each UG law course at WBNUJS.

WBNUJS has specified the selection criteria for NRI/NRI-Sponsored admissions 2026. The list is detailed below:
CLAT 2026 scorecard and All India Rank
Proof of application fee payment
Clear scanned copies of all required documents
Original documents must be submitted for verification on selection
Marksheet of qualifying examination (with grade-to-marks conversion, if applicable)
Equivalence certificate from the Indian Embassy/Indian Consulate/Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for foreign qualifications (if applicable).
Candidates who are selected must pay the university fee online. WBNUJS offers two payment options to selected candidates. They can either pay the full fee of USD 57530 or pay the first year fee of USD 11790 and a Bank Guarantee for subsequent years at the time of admission.
NRI/NRI-Sponsored candidates must apply online through the application link provided on the official website. Applicants must select the desired programme out of BA LLB (Hons.) and BSc LLB (Hons.) during the application. The latest application will be considered if multiple applications are submitted by one candidate. Note that the hostel accommodation is not available for BSc LLB students, and only limited vacancies are available for BA LLB candidates.
