The Bar Council of India has announced the result of AIBE XIX (19) 2024 on March 21. With this, the long-drawn AIBE 19 comes to an end. However, AIBE result recheck window will be provided soon by the BCI. Moreover, AIBE certificate of practice will be released first through the AIBESCOPE application and then through offline post. Candidates who could not clear the AIBE 19 exams will have another opportunity to appear in the next exam. The Bar Council of India usually conducts the AIBE exam twice a year. However, due to several administrative reasons, the council was able to conduct only one exam per year in recent years. The next AIBE exam will be held in the current year. It is likely to be held in May or October 2025.
The detailed schedule of Bar Examination 2025 will be announced by the council once the AIBE 19 process ends. Registration for AIBE 2025 will begin soon. If the council decides to conduct AIBE 20 in May-June, then registration should start by April. However, if the exam is scheduled for October 2025, then registration may start in May or June.
The AIBE 2025 registration window will remain open for around one month. In previous years, the registration window was extended multiple times, resulting in an extended application window.
Moreover, the Bar Council has also changed the AIBE exam schedule multiple times in previous years. This means it is crucial for students to keep an eye on the official announcement. It is not an open exam anymore, however, students are still allowed to carry bar acts without notes to the exam hall.
