The Consortium of National Law Universities was supposed to publish the first CLAT 2025 merit list on December 26, 2024. However, due to the court petitions filed against the CLAT 2025 answer key, the publication of the first merit list of CLAT 2025 is delayed. The consortium will soon revise the CLAT results 2025 after the directions given by the Delhi High Court. Given that the publication of CLAT first merit list delayed along with the CLAT 2025 counselling schedule.

As per the recent notification by the Consortium of NLUs, the revised CLAT 2025 first merit list date and counselling schedule will be announced after they finish the appeal process in the Supreme Court and expect a favourable outcome. With the current scenario, candidates who appeared for the Common Law Admission Test can expect the first CLAT merit list date to be released in the month of January 2025.

What After the Release of CLAT 2025 First Merit List?

There are five rounds of CLAT 2025 counselling, and the consortium will publish the CLAT merit list 2025 for each round. After the first CLAT merit is published online on the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The shortlisted students must pay the confirmation fee for a seat allotment at CLAT participating colleges 2025. Candidates included in the merit list will be allotted seats based on the CLAT 2025 scores, NLU preferences, category, and CLAT seat matrix 2025.
